The Z House is located in Seattle's Ravenna neighborhood, the project is currently under construction with an anticipated completion date of March. Situated on an unusual shaped corner lot, the home borders a George Suyama designed home and Ravenna Park. To maintain privacy the garage was located adjacent to the neighboring garage creating a courtyard that serves the main living spaces and maximizes the Southern exposure to ensure light year round. The upper bar contains the private space (bedrooms) and shifts from South to North allowing skylights to gain additional light into the kitchen and maximizes the view and privacy.
