Prefab: 9'10" Wide House (Lid Park)

Lid Park is currently under construction in the Central District of Seattle with an expected completion date of Feb. 1st. The home is prefabricated into two modules by Method Homes (http://methodhomes.net/modular-home-project-examples/index.html Bellingham) and was designed for a very unusual lot. The property is a remnant sliver, just under 20' wide by 89' long that was left by the creation of the I-90 tunnel. With Seattle building codes (5' side setbacks) the buildable area is just under 10' wide. The home itself features over 1200 sqft, a master bedroom level with attached roof deck, a living level with formal dining room and a lower level with the second bedroom, bathroom and storage.  The home took two months to build in the factory and will take another month on site, making the construction time just over three months.
